Description
A relative of wheat, spelt has a sweet, nutty flavour and can be easily substituted on a cup for cup basis into recipes. Spelt contains less gluten than wheat flour, but it is not gluten free. While it may be suitable for some people who are sensitive to wheat, it is not suitable for a Celiac diet.
