White Basmati Rice

Jen’s Notes: Use vegetable, chicken or beef broth in place of water for more flavour

1 cups rice
1 ½ cups water or broth
Pinch of salt (optional)
1 tsp. oil
Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is tender and all water is absorbed. About 20 minutes.
