2 cups flour
1 cup table salt
2 cups water
2 tsps. cream of tartar
2 tbsps. cooking oil
food colouring
Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Heat for approximately 3 minutes, stirring constantly until it congeals or forms a ball in the middle of the pan. Remove from pan and knead several times. Store in an airtight container to prevent hardening.
