Long Grain White Rice

Jen’s Notes: Use vegetable, chicken or beef broth in place of water for more flavour

2 cups water
1 cup rice
1 tsp. salt (optional)
Bring water and salt (if using) to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover and cook on low heat until all liquid is absorbed. (About 40 – 45 minutes) Serves 4 to 6.
