Rolled Oats, Quick Cook

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/3 cups rolled oats

Bring water to a boil.  Stir in oats, reduce heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat, cover with lid and let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.  If desired, add raisins and/or cinnamon or other flavourings.
